Camping Card

Here is a card I did at the last Stampin' Up club night.

The stamps sets were Under the Stars and Itty Bitty Background. You can't see the Itty Bitty Background, but was stamped in few places on the sleeping bag. Papers used were Not Quit Navy, Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Clowe to Cocoa, Cream Caramel, Sahara Sand and Certainly Celery Patters SD Paper. The little card card with the sleeping bag on it pulls out for your stamped or handwritten message.

New Cards

I don't know where the summer has gone. Here are a few of the cards I made this summer for various swaps and/or birthdays, etc. Sorry that they are a little fuzzy. I was having camera problems.
I do have my Halloween and Thanksgiving cards done and will post later. I am working on my Christmas cards. I have 4 that I did to see which one I liked best. Two are using my new Cricut. When I decide which one(s) I am going to use, I will post them. Anyway, here is what I have to share.

I can't tell you the name of the company that this stamp came from. It was in a bin of unmounted stamps at a convention several years ago.

The stamp set used here is from The Angel Company called Live, Love, Laugh, and the sentiment below is another one I picked up at a convention somewhere in a bind of unmounted stamps. I picked up several chocolate sayings.
This is from Stampin' Up called Branch Out.
This set came from Verve Stamps and it is called Up, Up, and Away. The paper is from SU.

Digital LO's

I did a couple digital layouts this weekend and thought I would share. I also have some cards to post, but haven't downloaded them yet.

The first layout is my grandson playing T-ball and the second layout is my up and coming grandson. He will probably be arriving a week from Monday. I can't wait.

New Cards

I've been having fun with the new stamps I received from The Greeting Farm/Anya and Sugar Nellie (Gorjuss Girls). I had made several other cards using the Tilda stamps, but the pictures I took didn't come out and I had already sent them out or given them away. The little girl with the big hat is Anya and the other two are Gorjuss Girls.

April 4, 2009

It has been like Christmas around here, the only bad thing is that I am the one doing all the buying.......for me. I just love to get packages in the mail. I picked up a few more Copic markers. I've also bought my first Magnolia/Tilda stamps, Gorjuss Girl stamps, and from The Greeting Farm, Anya stamps. Here are a couple cards and my digital 4 x 6 recipes that I did for some swaps.

March 14, 2009

I have been in a stamping mood lately. I am posting 2 cards I made last night. One is a get well card and the other is my Easter card for this year. The Easter card was one I cased off of Splitcoaststampers. Splitcoaststampers is a great web site for inspiration. I'm not very good at coming up with ideas on my own, so I use this site as inspiration. Both stamp sets are from My Favorite Things stamps (mftstamps.com). I was so excited because I got 3 stamps sets in the mail yesterday that I had ordered.

I am also posting a layout I did of my grandson. I figured out how to extract him from the picture he was in and now he will be going on a lot of big adventures. Who knows where he will end up next. My sister wrote the story line at the bottom of the page. Hopefully I can get my whole family involved in the story line and finding pictures to use for his travels. Mom has already started going through her slides.
